Itinerary

Kelani River in Kitulgala is the ideal location for commercial white water rafting sport in Sri Lanka. You can meet us at our Adventure center in Kitulgala town (near the old clock tower). Here you will receive further information about the experience and change into rafting equipment. Then you will transfer to the rafting start point by our vehicles. Before start the trip, our well experienced guides will give you a comprehensive safety briefing, paddle instructions and training.

In this rafting challenge you will go through few class 2 & 3 rapids. Butter crunch, Killer fall and White water are few to name them. And also you will pass the film location of award winning film "The Bridge on the River Kwai". Our guide will point you the location of the bridge. Currently you can only see the basement of the bridge.

This tour will take around 01 hours to go down 04 km along the river. Time depend on the water level and weather conditions. As well for this activity we will take children over 10 years only. But kids above 5 years can join after passing the class 2, 3 rapids. Before ending the trip we will let you jump off from the boat and enjoy the river by floating down.
