Wine Tasting and Pairing Afternoon Tour

This small group wine tour provides a social and lighthearted way to savor the best experiences offered in the Niagara Wine Tours Region. This Niagara wine tour visits smaller, more intimate wineries to create a more personalized experience. Enjoy a day tasting delicious wines with cheese and chocolate pairings, as well as the services of an experienced and entertaining tour guide.

This afternoon tour picks up in Niagara Falls around 1pm and Niagara on the Lake around 1:30pm. The tour is purposely structured in the afternoon to beat the peak lunch crowds and get more personalized service in a quieter setting, including private tours of the production facilities and a visit to the vineyard to see the grapes.

The first winery includes a structured tasting where you will learn all about why wine connoisseurs swish, swirl, and examine their wine before having a sip. You will have five paired wines, including a well known ice wine that is one of the best in Canada. You will continue on the day, tasting more wines and pairings and also enjoying a private tour of an award wining facility. Here you will learn how wine is made, how it is stored, and how it is bottled. The day has plenty of wonderful photo opportunities, so feel free to bring a camera.
