Wines of Lyon: Burgundy, Rhône, and Beaujolais

Learn all about Burgundy, Beaujolais, and the Rhône without having to leave the city. Your 'Wines of Lyon' Wine Tasting includes seven wines, a local cheese and charcuterie board, and two hours of top-notch wine education. Expect to learn about grapes, regions, wine tasting technique, and history! Tastings take place around the table in a converted historic 19th Century silk factory in the Croix-Rousse neighborhood. They are led by me, expert Sommelier and wine educator Caroline Conner, otherwise known as Wine Dine Caroline. I have my WSET Level 4 Diploma (a big deal), and am currently a student of the Master of Wine (the wine world's biggest deal).

I purchase all the wines at the vineyard. I work with small, independent wineries that focus on quality and sustainability. You will always learn about Beaujolais, Burgundy, and the Northern Rhône, but I may also include other hidden gems from nearby. I'll never serve anything that comes from further than 2 hours away!
