Multi-Day Winter Sightseeing Tour in Armenia

Day 1: Garni - Geghard - Tsaghkadzort - Lake Sevan

The only surviving pagan temple in the whole region from the 1st century. in Winter it's even more beautiful and less crowded.

Stop At: Geghard Monastery, Mets Gilanlar, Armenia
Geghardavank which is also known as the spear monastery is one of the UNESCO sights of Armenia. it's simply carved out of one piece of rock, Never try to compare it tp Petra, once you are here I will explain to you why.
Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Tsakhkadzor, Tsakhkadzor, Kotayk Province
The most famous ski resort town of Armenia with plenty of winter attractions.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Monastery Sevanavank, next the Holy Mother of God Church, Sevan Armenia
on Top of Sevan Peninsular, you get to see the postcard view of the Sevanavnk monastery and the Lake.

Day 2: Khor Virap-Noravank-Areni winery-Areni caves

Stop At: Khor Virap, Highway 11 - Near the village of Pokr Vedi Artashat, Lusarat 0612 Armenia
One of the best views of Mount Ararat is from here. also known as the cradle of Armenian Christianity
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Noravank Monastery, NoravankMonastery Road Amaghu Valley, Areni 3604 Armenia
in Winter Noravank is even more beautiful in the contrast of the white and red mountains around it.

Stop At: Areni Wine Factory, Areni Armenia
a very cozy place to try some local wine when its cold outside.

Stop At: T'rchuneri (Bird) Cave, Highway At the Entrance To Noravank Canyon, Areni 3604 Armenia
Areni caves where the oldest leather shoe and a 6100 years old wine press were discovered in the result of recent excavations.
