The luge was awesome! I scoffed at first but it was so much fun. And hilarious as an American to see how casual they are with safety in New Zealand. So freeing! I even caught some air. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view, glad we did this. Disappointed however that we called up front to ask if there was a function (like website says to do), we were told yes, there is a function but it would not affect our tour. But in fact it did. We could only view part of the city, not 360 degrees due to area closed off for function. It was the whole reason we chose a time to go, to be able to see it all.

I've done it expecting nothing and it was okay but I wouldn't do it again. The boat is really slow and it's kind of relaxing in the beginning after you finally get in after all the hassle in Chiang Khong. It's just too long. Afternoon is too hot, although the views are quite nice.
