Praia Do Secreto (Secret Beach) is located southwest of Praia da Macumba in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It's not too much of a secret or really a beach anymore. The Secret Beach is actually anatural pool with a sandy track. It can get VERY crowed, espcially on the weekends.
Praia do Tamariz is located nearby Estoril train station. The beach is beautiful and there are many restaurants where you can enjoy the local food and pretty views.
Praia Fluvial de Loriga is a beach only 1.5h drive from Guarda town. It’s located in Loriga Glacier Valley in Estrela Natural Park. It’s a tranquil place surrounded by nature where the spring water is crystal clear. Whole area is in the most preserved state so if you’re a nature lover this is a place to go!
Prainha Beach is a favorite with surfers, with waves up to three meters tall and long rides. If the ascent to the Prainha is full, park the car on the edge of Praia do Pontal and follow the walking path.
Start at the Caprock Coulee Trailhead and follow the Buckhorn Trail to a prairie dog town. Be sure to plan some extra time for wildlife viewing; where there are prairie dogs, there are often lots of other animals, too!
Begin this loop trail at the Visitor Center or at the picnic area just north of the visitor center. Waysides provide information along the way. Leashed pets are allowed on this trail.
