Conveniently located less than 1/4 mile off of Interstate 40 at Exit 233, on the south side of the Highway, Meteor Crater RV Park is 20 miles West of Winslow, 35 miles east of Flagstaff, and is your basecamp for traveling the southwest. Enjoy wide open spaces, tall pine trees, and a landing spot right next to Meteor Crater!
Metsoke Dragot Beach by the Dead Sea is an oasis where a couple of sweet water springs pour into the Dead Sea. This is a natural beach and there are no facilities, but the sweet water springs can be used for shower after a dip in the Dead Sea. Primitive camping is aloud along the shore. The only nearby hotel and bar is the cliff top Metzoke Dragot Travelers Village.
Miaree Pool is located along the Maitland River in Western Australia. It's beautiful big water hole that thrives with wildlife and OK for swimming. A confident 4WDer could camp down by the water. One toilet and shaded picnic table.
Difficult to find even ground unless you get in early for a good spot.
The National Park Service has designated the area at the end of Mid-Basin Road as a Kiteboarding Use Area. Lake Mohave and Lake Mead are known for high winds that come up unexpectedly. Recommended for advanced kiteboarders only.

Mid Hills Campground is and about 1 mile west of Black Canyon Road on the south end of Wild Horse Canyon Road in Mojave National Preserve, California. Available year-round, equipped with pit toilets, trash receptacles, fire rings, picnic tables; no dump station or utility hookups. Firewood is not available in the park. NO POTABLE WATER AT THIS TIME.

Midway Campground is located off of Grey's Well Road and offers visitors areas to camp. Vaulted toilets and dumpsters are available on site.
Access to Midway Campground is best made by taking Gray's Well Road Exit off of Interstate 8. Follow Gray's Well Road past the Buttercup Ranger Station and continue west.
Mill Creek Campground within Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park has 145 campsites have a picnic table, food locker, and fire ring.
The campground is open from May through September.
Eight people maximum are allowed per campsite.
