We had a nice walk to the bay but of course we were also charged a fee to get through the resort...We bargained and didn't pay much after all. The bay is really cool, beautiful view, many divers and boats though. Snorkeling is amazing, water is clear and fish come in all colors.

One of the best dives in the islands.

Molokini crater is an excellent dive location. While there are many dive site's near the crater to choose from, my favorite is mid-reef. At depths of 75 feet, you can see Garden Eels swaying in the water. What a sight! There are lots and lots of colorful reef fish, eels, Cornet fish, White Tip Reef Sharks (very docile), and an occasional Manta Ray, Eagle Ray, an endangered Hawksbill Turtle...or if you are very lucky...Humpback whales or a rare Whale shark. Unlike nearby Maui shore dives, underwater visibility at the crater ranges from 100 to 160 feet. Simply incredible.
