The place isn't well signed around, it's good to have a guide which isn't too expensive ang gives you a better idea of the place. Bring some fruit for the animals and you'll avoid overpaying for them inside. Also, you'll make them happier, the love these snacks.
I went there in November and part of the garden was inaccessible due to the conditions (it rained often). Nevertheless, I saw a part of it and it was a very nice stroll in the nature. There are interesting butterflies which I've never seen before. Make sure to bring a mosquito spray!
