Bonfires are allowed at North Beach in the city-provided fire rings or approved personal containers.
Public fire pits rules:
Clean wood only - no nails or staples
NO pallets
12-inch wood height limit
Keep fires inside containers
Curfew 11:00 pm and 5:00 am.
Portable barbecues/fire containers are allowed on Central and North Beach. Coals must be properly disposed of in hot coal bins located on the beach. Fires may not be built directly on the sand.
You can elevate your visit by reserving a private bonfire experience (available for an additional fee) through local vendors or directly at the Hotel del Coronado.
Kites are not allowed on any Coronado beaches.
