Visit Central Beach (Center Beach), Coronado, California

Coronado's Central Beach (some locals call it Center Beach) stretches from the intersection of Rh Dana Place and Ocean Boulevard north to the main Lifeguard tower. Amenities include beach access mats, restrooms and public volleyball courts. No surfing Memorial Day to Lobor Day (11am-6pm). Permits for beach events can be obtained by submitting the above Park and Beach Application. Be aware of Stingrays - espcially in the summer. When entering water shuffle your feet in the sand to lura them away. Rules: Portable barbecues/fire containers are allowed on Central and North Beach. Coals must be properly disposed of in hot coal bins located on the beach. Fires may not be built directly on the sand. Kites are not allowed on any Coronado beaches. Alcohol and glass are not allowed on the beach. Smoking is not allowed. Dogs not allowed (only allowed at Dog Beach at North Beach).
