Smith Water Canyon is reached from Lower Covington Trail. There is no trail through the canyon, but the wash is easy to follow with some rock hopping in a few places. It is a very scenic area with the water polished granite of different colors and patterns among the desert life.
Smoke Bluffs Park is one of the jewels of Squamish outdoor recreation. A haven for rock climbers, with over 400 granite climbing routes on various cliffs and bluffs dotting the park, the Bluffs are also home to one of the great, short hikes in Squamish.
The Smuggler’s Canyon Trail is located in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California. This 2-mile roundtrip trail goes by boulders and also offers a nice view of the Vallecito Valley.
