The lighthouse at Klein Curaçao is crumbling, but functional. The tower is 22 meters (66 feet) tall and lit by a solar-powered LED light. As with Curaçao, hurricanes are few, but several storms have left their mark; the 1877 hurricane destroyed the first lighthouse.
