Saddle Canyon is located in the Grand Canyon in the Marble Canyon area. This hike is accessed from a river rafting trip on the Colorado River. This canyon is located at river mile 47.5 on river right.
It is a 1.6 miles round trip hike to the waterfall.
The Saddle Horse Loop Trail allows access to more viewpoints near the Toroweap Overlook and offers spectacular views of the Colorado River.
It takes about 45-minutes to complete the hike.
Access the trail along the road between Toroweap Overlook and Tuweep Campground or from a trailhead near campsite 5.
This short trail climbs up the Badlands Wall to a view over the White River Valley. The trail ends where it connects with the Castle and Medicine Root Loop Trails.
