Khao Laem Salak Phet is 744m highest mountain of Ko Chang. It takes around 4 hours to hike up and 2.5 hours to go down the same way. The path leads through the jungle and you can see all the green surroundings from the top. Bring a lot of water and good shoes.
Need some adventure? Go for Khao Mai Kaew Cave. The hike is slightly demanding as gets slippery and the inside of the cave is dark. Make sure to leave your flip flops in the hotel rather than putting them on for this one!
If you want to challenge yourself and go hiking, you should visit Khao Ngon Nak Viewpoint in Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. The way up the mountain takes 2-3hours, depending on your stamina and amount of water you bring. The way down is roughly 30mins faster. The path and the stones are often moist so put on shoes with good grip and be careful with each step.
Khao Ra is the highest point of Ko Phangan elevating at 627m. The hike takes roughly 3 hours, leads through the jungle and can be demanding at some points. Full shoes recommended!
