The Mokoroa Falls Track starts at Horsman Road in Waitakere, near Auckland, New Zealand. The track to the falls is 1.5 km one way (about 40 minutes one way). You pass the junction with the Goldie Bush Walkway on your left after about 5 minutes.

An easy trail and boardwalk meander to the lake through the willows and marsh of the Mono Lake Tufa State Natural Reserve (between the park and the lake), filled with waving grasses, colorful wildflowers, and delicate tufa towers.
