The visitor center is small and because we were doing mostly a drive tour of the park, we dint have much interaction with the ranger on duty. The park was very clean, roads in great shape and we couldn’t believe the number of tent and small vehicle camping! The sights are amazing and the view is breathtaking!
Tours are incredibly informative and interesting. I knew Ms. Barton only as the founder of the American Red Cross and the Angel of the Battlefield, but walked out of the tour completely drenched in new knowledge about her, the Red Cross, and Glen Echo.
I grew up right here by the monument and it is by far one of my favorite places! The top of montezumas pass is a beautiful place to sit and watch the sun set, because you can see for miles! Absolutely love this place!
This place is beautiful with several nice camps in the area from primitive to hookups. I have visited here on four different occasions and always find more things to explore.

We came to Denali mid September. The fall colors were so incredibly beautiful! We were even able to see Denali in the distance. With the roads closed, we couldn’t get very close, but seeing the rest of the park and some wildlife did not disappoint. Alaska’s beauty leaves you breathless!!
Get there early and take the bus. Stop at all stops of the circuit, not just the Rocks. It gets very crowded in warmer times and there’s no access by car, only by bus!!!
