The Oxbow Overlook is a scenic overlook at the end the North Unit Scenic Drive in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It provides fantastic views of the Badlands and the river valley.
From Oxer Lookout you get unsurpassed views out over the junction of Weano, Red, Hancock and Joffre gorges. You can see the tiers of banded iron formation that tower over a pool at the bottom of the gorge.

The Sunrise National Scenic Byway is a small section of the Pacific Crest Trail ("PCT"). This section of trail was actually the pre-1975 Sunrise Highway. It was once an old roadbed that was chiseled into the cliff. This was once a very narrow and dangerous drive with a steep drop directly below you.
A raised observation platform on this boardwalk loop provides sweeping vistas of the "river of grass." The Pahayokee Trail is a 0.16-mile boardwalk, accessible and has an overlook platform.

Painted Wall is lcoated on the north side of the canyon at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. It is the tallest sheer cliff in Colorado at 2,250 feet (690 m). Lighter-colored pegmatite dikes are clearly visible.
Palisade Point Overview is on the eastern side of Crater Lakealong the Rim Drive.
