Olmsted Point is located along Tioga Road in Yosemite National Park. This viewing area offers a view into Tenaya Canyon. This view looks southwest into the valley, giving, in particular, a view of the northern side of Half Dome and a view of Tenaya Lake to the east.
Otira Gorge Rock Shelter Lookout is along Great Alpine Highway (Hwy 73) in Arthur's Pass, New Zealand. The rock shelter was constructed to capture and deflect the almost continuous rockfall from the cliffs above the gorge.
Forest covered most of the view but still very nice to visit as it has few benches on the top of the tower to relax and enjoy the view and the breeze. Many deer in the trees nearby. The trail to the tower can be hard to find.
Otter Crest State Scenic Viewpoint is a state park in the U.S. state of Oregon, administered by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. Going north on State Highway 101 the turnoff to the left comes up quickly and is easy to miss in the dense foliage. Taking it ones gets a view of Cape Foulweather.
The Overlook Hill Trail is located off Soda Lake Road 2.1 miles inside the north entrance and provides a great view of Soda Lake and the Carrizo Plain. The trail is short but steep.
