Beautiful view, but in high season there are so many boats around the famous rock that it's impossible to take a nice picture. In low season is much better, not many tourists and you can actually enjoy the island.

Summer Stillwell

Iceland is my most favorite country that I have ever visited. It has everything to offer in nature: hundreds of unique waterfalls, glaciers, amazing hikes, great natives and travelers, and the cutest Icelandic horses! My partner and I rented a car and backpacked for 5 days here. Can’t wait to come back. It is very expensive but a cheap plane ticket.

You can’t get close to the actual memorial. The museum and gift shop is full of overpriced tourist trap items that can be bought anywhere.

National park tickets are bought upon arrival at the airport and are 80 USD in cash per person. This is required by all visitors to Easter Island.

The ultimate escape from hustle and bustle. It's an amazing place where the biggest attraction is gathering to watch the sunset behind the Moai. The funniest thing is you constantly run into the people you flew in with as there are limited flights. Make sure to go to Anakena Beach and the Rank Raraku. They are worth the trip across the island. It's a good idea to bring your poncho too.
