After visiting the Baikal Museum, walk up behind it and head towards the Baikal Hotel. About 500 feet before the hotel, take the road to the left to get to the gondola. At the top of the mountain is a view that is indescribably beautiful!
Beautiful view, but in high season there are so many boats around the famous rock that it's impossible to take a nice picture. In low season is much better, not many tourists and you can actually enjoy the island.
My children and I loved it! The people are very warm. The food was however very expensive. We swam with the sharks, stingrays and the most beautiful fishes. Remember to bring waterproof camera
The ultimate escape from hustle and bustle.
It's an amazing place where the biggest attraction is gathering to watch the sunset behind the Moai. The funniest thing is you constantly run into the people you flew in with as there are limited flights.
Make sure to go to Anakena Beach and the Rank Raraku. They are worth the trip across the island. It's a good idea to bring your poncho too.
Bangkok has so much in offer that everyone would find something for themselves. The food is easy to find, it's literally everywhere and there's a big choice of dishes. You can go shopping to any centre of your choice, visit temples, parks, ladyboy cabarets and other performances. If you go around you'll get floating markets, more temples and rural life experience. Worth to visit at least for a few days but stay close to BTS as it's the easiest and most reliable mean of transport in the city.
This is a great place to visit and learn history of the area. Hikes are amazing, lots of breathtaking views from rim and down in the canyons. Trails are rocky make sure you have good foot gear, a walking stick and lots of water.
My favorite city in my favorite country on earth. I could not imagine a more perfect place. The art, the architecture, the food, the people, the weather, the landscape. It’s all incredible. Counting down the days til I make my big move to Florence! Il mio cuore appartiene a Firenze!
Cairo is so strange. My friend said that when she went several years ago it was stunning and she actually wanted to move there. After the Arab spring it leaves a bit to be desired. Piles of garbage everywhere. But it's the history that gives it 5-stars.
