The Burr Trail is an excellent back country road that links Boulder on UT 12 with the Notom-Bullfrog Road near the south end of Capitol Reef National Park. A majority of the road is in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The road within the National Monument is 30 miles to the Capitol Reef boundary and now is paved.
Butler Wash Road offers dozens of side roads leading to unmarked trailheads for various hikes and camping areas. Site include Wolfman Panel, Double-stacked Ruins, Monarch Cave, Cold Spring Cave and Split Level Ruins.
It's a 2wd high clearance road when dry.
Buttercup Sand Dunes is right off I-8 and is part of the greater Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area.
Buttercup is also home to the last-remaining section of wooden plank road.
Buttermilk Road is about seven miles from Bishop, the adventure begins here at Buttermilk Road, past the bouldering area on the right the roads will become more difficult, high clearance vehicle is recommended. The Buttermilk Country got its name in the 1870s when a dairy was operated here.
